It generates a single-line half-duplex UART signal without handshake, supports multiple FTDI MCUs (especially FT51A), and delivers switched 5V power to target devices without violating USB compliance. The module has credit card-sized dimensions (with added height), includes a 150mm ribbon cable with 2x3 2.54mm pitch connectors, and is compatible with pogo pin cables. All components are Pb-free (RoHS compliant).
