The VM801P is a development module based on FTDI's FT801 Embedded Video Engine (EVE), featuring an ATMEGA328P microcontroller operating at 5V/16MHz. It includes a 5-point capacitive touch screen LCD panel (4.3” or 5.0” with 480x272 resolution), backlight LED driver, audio amplifier and micro speaker, FT232R USB serial port for firmware upgrade, Micro-SD socket for storage, battery-backed Real Time Clock, and 2x Micro-MaTch connectors for daughter card expansion. The module is designed for industrial or commercial environments with precision fitted bezels in black or pearl.
