The 7 series FPGAs include:
Virtex®-7 Family: Optimized for highest system performance and capacity with a 2X improvement in system performance. Highest capability devices enabled by stacked silicon interconnect (SSI) technology.Built on a state-of-the-art, high-performance, low-power (HPL), 28 nm, high-k metal gate (HKMG) process technology, 7 series FPGAs enable an unparalleled increase in system performance with 2.9 Tb/s of I/O bandwidth, 2 million logic cell capacity, and 5.3 TMAC/s DSP, while consuming 50% less power than previous generation devices to offer a fully programmable alternative to ASSPs and ASICs.
1. High-end Virtex-7 XT FPGA architecture

2. Large logic capacity
With 693,120 logic cells, XC7VX690T-2FFG1157I is suitable for complex FPGA designs, including networking, signal processing, ASIC prototyping, and high-performance embedded computing.

The broader Xilinx 7 Series FPGA family is built on a 28nm high-k metal gate process, designed to improve performance and reduce power compared with previous-generation FPGA platforms.

Virtex-7 FPGAs are positioned for high DSP performance and system integration, which makes this device suitable for radar, wireless communication, video processing, and real-time analytics workloads.
8. Industrial temperature grade
The “I” suffix indicates an industrial-temperature ordering option, making the device suitable for more demanding operating environments than standard commercial-grade parts.
