LM1771EVAL [Texas Instruments]

The LM1771 is a buck switching controller that uses a constant on-time control scheme, eliminating the need for external compensation components. It features a precision enable pin for easy sequencing and flexibility in setting the operating range. The device is available in a small LLP-6 package. The evaluation board (AN-1477) is a compact design (less than 0.86" x 0.76") that delivers up to 2A continuous current. The output voltage is set to 2.5V but can be adjusted by changing a feedback resistor. The board uses the 2000ns timing option (LM1771U) to achieve a 378kHz switching frequency and achieves over 92% efficiency at full load.
