The 3M™ D Ribbon Wiremount Socket features an integral bail lock to reduce packaging and handling costs, a stamped metal face that is smaller and lighter than cast metal, and rear mount capability for excellent grounding. It uses existing locator plates and is RoHS compliant. Physical properties include Glass Filled Polyester (PBT) insulation, UL 94V-0 flammability rating, gray color, copper alloy contacts with nickel underplating and gold wiping area, steel shell with bright nickel plating, and stainless steel strain relief. Electrical specifications include 1 A current rating, insulation resistance > 1 × 10^9 Ω at 500 V DC, and 1000 Vrms withstanding voltage at sea level. Environmental rating is -55°C to +105°C.
