The MAX146 and MAX147 are 12-bit data-acquisition systems featuring an 8-channel multiplexer, high-bandwidth track/hold, and a serial interface. They operate from a single supply: MAX146 from +2.7V to +3.6V, MAX147 from +2.7V to +5.25V. Analog inputs are software configurable for unipolar/bipolar and single-ended/differential operation. The 4-wire serial interface is compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and TMS320 devices. MAX146 includes an internal 2.5V reference, while MAX147 requires an external reference. Both have a reference-buffer amplifier with ±1.5% adjustment range. They feature a hard-wired SHDN pin and software-selectable power-down, with quick turn-on time. Available in 20-pin DIP and SSOP packages.
