ACPL-785E-300 [Broadcom]

These isolation amplifiers consist of a sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter optically coupled to a digital-to-analog converter in a hermetically sealed package. They provide superior reliability compared to traditional solutions like current transformers and Hall-effect sensors when monitoring motor phase current in high-speed motor drives. The products are capable of operation and storage over the full military temperature range (-55°C to +125°C) and are available as commercial products (HCPL-7850), with full MIL-PRF-38534 Class H testing (HCPL-7851), with MIL-PRF-38534 Class E testing (ACPL-785E), or from DLA Standard Microcircuit Drawing 5962-97557.
