AEAT-86AD-LASF0 [Broadcom]

The AEAT-86AD is a multi-turn encoder module with built-in controller that combines positional information from single turn and multiturn absolute encoders. It features optical sensing, gear train mechanism, and integrated RS422 line driver/receiver for noise immunity. The unit requires no battery or capacitor for revolution counting during power failure and provides immediate position detection on power up. It includes a 2x4-pole pin strip for power and signals, and supports mechanical coupling via gear wheels (module 0.3).
