    The APDS-9702 is a signal conditioning IC designed for optical proximity sensors with an I2C interface. It features low power consumption, internal oscillation circuit for LED pulse mode, complete shutdown mode, and external LED drive-current control. The device operates from 2.4V to 3.6V supply voltage and is operational in sunlight conditions up to 100klux. It provides both analog and digital outputs with a built-in comparator, and features a wide bandwidth trans-impedance amplifier with external capacitor and resistor for integration and gain controls. The IC offers flexibility to enhance detection distance up to 200mm with HSDL-9100 or further with external discrete pair solutions. It comes in a small 2mm x 2mm QFN 8-pin package and is lead-free and RoHS compliant.
