The UM232H is a development module designed to plug into a standard 0.6” wide 28 pin DIP socket. It uses the FT232H chip to handle USB 2.0 Hi-Speed (480Mbits/Second) and Full Speed (12Mbits/Second) protocols. The module features a mini-B USB connector and is Pb-free (RoHS compliant). It supports various serial interfaces including UART, FIFO, and MPSSE modes (JTAG, SPI, I2C) and provides 1kByte receive and transmit buffers for high data throughput.
