    The USB-COM422-Plus1 module uses the FTDI FT232RQ USB-Serial bridge chip and includes RS422 level shifters plus TXD/RXD LEDs for data traffic indication. It connects via a standard USB-B connector to a host or hub and provides RS422 signals through a DE-9P connector. The module appears as a Virtual COM Port (VCP) after driver installation, enabling communication with legacy RS422 devices using standard serial software. It supports data rates up to 3Mbps and is USB-powered without requiring an external adapter.
