They feature enhanced core architecture (60% higher performance than previous mid-range, 15% than fastest previous), high-bandwidth transceivers (up to 25.8 Gbps), improved logic integration (8-input ALM, up to 65.6 Mb embedded memory, variable-precision DSP, fractional PLLs, hard PCIe Gen3, hard memory controllers), and a second-generation hard processor system (HPS) with dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore. They offer up to 40% lower power than previous mid-range and 60% than high-end FPGAs.
