CPC7582BCTR [IXYS]

The CPC7582 is a monolithic solid-state switch designed to replace electro-mechanical relays on line cards. It contains solid-state switches for tip and ring line break, ringing injection/ringing return, and test access. The device requires only a +5V supply and offers break-before-make or make-before-break switch operation using simple logic-level input control. Key features include monolithic IC reliability, low matched R ON, elimination of zero cross switching, flexible switch timing, clean bounce-free switching, tertiary protection (integrated current limiting, voltage clamping, thermal shutdown), 5V operation with power consumption <10mW, intelligent battery monitor, and latched logic-level inputs requiring no external drive circuitry. The SOIC version is pin compatible with Agere products.
