The 6405E (4 internal ports) and 6805E (8 internal ports) models use a low-profile MD2 form factor with PCIe Gen2 host interfaces (1-lane for 6405E, 4-lane for 6805E). They support RAID levels 0, 1, 1E, 10, and JBOD, Hybrid RAID (combining SSDs and HDDs), RAID level migration, online capacity expansion, and copyback hot spare. Designed for affordability, they outperform software-based HBAs and SATA controllers.
