The AT27C400 requires a single 5V power supply in normal read mode operation. Any word can be accessed in less than 90 ns, eliminating the need for speed-reducing WAIT states. The by-16 organization makes this part ideal for high-performance 16- and 32-bit microprocessor systems. It features low-power CMOS operation with 100 µA maximum standby and 50 mA maximum active at 5 MHz. The device is available in a wide selection of JEDEC standard packages including PDIP, SOIC, TSOP, and PLCC. It has high-reliability CMOS technology with 2000V ESD protection and 200 mA latch-up immunity. The Rapid™ programming algorithm reduces programming time to typically 50 µs per word. Inputs and outputs are CMOS and TTL compatible. The device includes an integrated product identification code and is available in commercial and industrial temperature ranges.
