    The 603R is a superscalar processor capable of issuing and retiring up to three instructions per clock, with five execution units (Integer, Floating-point, Branch, Load/Store, System Register). It features dual 16 KB four-way set-associative caches for instructions and data, on-chip MMUs with 64-entry TLBs, and supports selectable 32/64-bit data bus. It uses 0.29µm CMOS technology, offers software-controllable power-saving modes (nap, doze, sleep, and dynamic), and maintains TTL compatibility. Available in multiple packages: Cerquad, CBGA 255, HiTCE CBGA 255, and CI-CGA 255.
