CAPZero blocks current flow in the X capacitor safety discharge resistors when AC voltage is applied, reducing power loss to less than 5 mW. When AC is disconnected, it automatically discharges the X capacitor. This allows flexibility in choosing X capacitors for EMI filtering without increasing power consumption. The device is self-supplied, requires no external bias, and meets safety standards. It simplifies EMI filter design and reduces inductor costs. The family has two voltage grades: 825 V and 1000 V.
