LinkSwitch-TN combines a high-voltage power MOSFET switch with a power supply controller in one device. It replaces linear and capacitor-fed non-isolated power supplies, offering higher efficiency and lower component count. Key features include integrated auto-restart for fault protection (LNK304-306), 66 kHz operation with accurate current limit, high breakdown voltage of 700 V, frequency jittering to reduce EMI, thermal shutdown at 135 °C minimum, support for buck, buck-boost, and flyback topologies, universal input voltage range (85 VAC to 265 VAC), and EcoSmart energy efficiency with very low no-load consumption.
