The LinkSwitch-HP family integrates a controller and high-voltage power MOSFET into one package. It uses a multi-mode control scheme to maximize efficiency over the full load range, eliminating the need for an optocoupler and secondary control circuitry. It provides ±5% output voltage tolerance and operates at up to 132 kHz to reduce transformer and power supply size. The device features extensive protection including auto-restart, output short-circuit protection, over-current, over-voltage, and thermal shutdown. Package options include eSIP-7C, eSOP-12B, and eDIP-12B.
