LNK6769V [Power Integrations]

The LinkSwitch-HP family integrates a controller and high-voltage power MOSFET into one package. It uses multi-mode control to maximize efficiency across the full load range, achieving no-load consumption below 30 mW at 230 VAC (LNK67xx) and >75% efficiency with 1 W input. The devices eliminate the need for optocouplers and secondary control circuitry, simplifying power supply designs while maintaining ±5% output voltage tolerance. Features include 132 kHz operation to reduce transformer size, accurate programmable current limit, frequency jittering for EMI reduction, and integrated soft-start. Protection features include auto-restart, output short-circuit protection, over-current/over-voltage protection, line brown-in/out protection, and thermal shutdown. Package options include eSIP-7C, eSOP-12B, and eDIP-12B with exposed pads for thermal management.
