PFS7629L [Power Integrations]

HiperPFS-4 family integrates a CCM boost PFC controller, gate driver, and 600V MOSFET in a single package. It uses variable frequency CCM operation with constant amp-second on-time and constant volt-second off-time control algorithm to maximize efficiency across load range, particularly at light loads. The devices eliminate external current sense resistors and use innovative control technique that adjusts switching frequency over output load, input line voltage, and input line cycle. Features include integrated non-linear error amplifier for enhanced load transient response, user programmable Power Good signal, and user selectable power limit functionality. The advanced digital techniques for line monitoring, line feed-forward scaling, and power factor enhancement maintain extremely low no-load power consumption.
