Key features include fully integrated soft-start, externally settable current limit, wider duty cycle for higher power, line under-voltage/overvoltage detection, frequency jittering for reduced EMI, and hysteretic thermal shutdown. Available in P (DIP-8B), G (SMD-8B), and Y (TO-220-7B) packages, it offers 10-15% higher power capability than TOPSwitch-II devices.
