TOP258EN [Power Integrations]

TOPSwitch-HX Family features multi-mode operation for maximum efficiency at all loads, new eSIP-7F and eSIP-7C packages with low thermal impedance (2°C/W), low height for space-limited adapters, simple clip mounting, extended creepage distance from DRAIN pin, no heatsink required up to 35W with universal input or 48W at 230VAC. Includes output overvoltage protection (user programmable), line undervoltage/overvoltage detection, accurate programmable current limit, 132kHz frequency (reduces transformer size), half frequency option for video applications, frequency jittering to reduce EMI filter cost, improved auto-restart (<3% power in faults), accurate hysteretic thermal shutdown, and fully integrated soft-start.
