The TOPSwitch-HX family integrates a high-voltage power MOSFET, PWM control, and protection features into a single device. It features multi-mode operation for high efficiency across all loads, new eSIP-7F and eSIP-7C packages with low thermal impedance and low height, and simple mounting with a clip. It includes advanced protection features such as user-programmable output overvoltage protection, line undervoltage and overvoltage detection, and accurate programmable current limit. The device also offers frequency jittering to reduce EMI filter cost, a 132 kHz switching frequency (with half-frequency option for video), and integrated soft-start to minimize startup stress.
