The Open Loop POL Evaluation Board implements a single-phase POL architecture with adjustable switching frequency (100-500kHz) and duty cycle (20-80%). It uses Silicon Laboratories’ Si8234 ISOdriver to drive high-side and low-side FETs, and includes Si8512 AC current sensors for monitoring switching currents and Si8540 DC current sensor for monitoring load current. The board enables evaluation of components in switch-mode power supplies, motor control, inverters, and ballast lighting applications.
