LM317K Description

The LM317K is a three-terminal positive-voltage regulator with an adjustable output voltage range of 1.25 V to 37 V that can deliver more than 1.5 A. Setting the output voltage requires only two external resistors. The STMicroelectronics LM317K has an average line regulation of 0.01 percent and an average load regulation of 0.1 percent. The regulator LM317K has current limiting, thermal overload protection, and a safe operating area. Even if the ADJUST terminal is disconnected, the overload protection remains active.
