VIPer100/100A is a primary-side integrated circuit for switch-mode power supplies, featuring adjustable switching frequency up to 200 kHz, current mode control, soft start and shutdown control, automatic burst mode operation in stand-by condition, internally trimmed zener reference, undervoltage lock-out with hysteresis, integrated start-up supply, over-temperature protection, low stand-by current, and adjustable current limit. It is compatible with both primary and secondary regulation loops, reducing component count by about 50% compared to discrete solutions. Typical applications include offline power supplies with secondary power capability of 50 W in wide condition and 100W in single range or with doubler configuration.
