STD and STB markers are used for permanent identification of wires and small cables. They feature side-entry installation using an applicator wand, allowing identification after termination. The markers have an expanding profile to accommodate a wide range of wire and cable sizes (1.0 to 19.0 mm) and are supplied chevron cut for legend alignment. Manufactured from zero halogen polyoxymethylene (POM) compound, they are suitable for energy projects including power stations, oil refineries, and offshore platforms. Key features include zero halogen, UL94 HB fire resistance, UV stabilization (black markers), resistance to key fluids, secure grip, and high elasticity to prevent substrate damage. Applicator wands with patented slits prevent over-expansion during installation.
