    The LM3658 charger IC automatically selects between USB and AC power sources, with AC taking priority. It features programmable charge currents (50mA to 1000mA via external resistor for AC, 100mA or 500mA pin-selectable for USB), ±0.35% termination voltage accuracy (4.2V), and integrates internal Power FETs, reverse current protection, and current sensing. The IC operates in five phases: pre-qualification, constant-current, constant-voltage, top-off, and maintenance mode. The LM3658-B variant includes LDO mode functionality. The evaluation kit provides complete functional testing with jumper-controlled access to all features.
