The OP290 Series are plastic infrared emitting diodes available in T-1¾, TO-18, or TO-46 packages. They offer a choice of narrow or wide irradiance patterns and multiple power ranges. These LEDs provide higher power output than GaAs equivalents and feature a silver-copper lead frame for excellent thermal characteristics. The series includes variants with different electrical parameters (A, B, C) and specialized high-irradiance versions (AA, AB, AC, AD). They are spectrally and mechanically matched to OP593 and OP598 series phototransistors.
