The OP550, OP552, OP555, OP560, OP565, OP750, OP755 series consists of NPN silicon phototransistors molded in epoxy packages with wide receiving angles for even reception over large areas. The side-looking package design enables easy PCBoard mounting for optical switches and interrupt detectors. Available with clear, opaque, or blue-tinted packages, these devices are 100% production tested using infrared light for correlation with OPTEK's GaAs and GaAIAs emitters. The series includes phototransistor and photodarlington configurations with various sensitivity levels.
