OPB712 [Optek]

These are non-contact reflective object sensors with a choice of phototransistor or photodarlington output. They are unfocused for sensing diffuse surfaces, housed in low-cost plastic, and available with filter or unfiltered options. The devices use filtering epoxy to reduce ambient light noise and respond only when a reflective object passes within their field of view. They are designed for applications requiring reliable detection of reflective objects.
