The L Series provides PCBoard mount lead spacing choices, while the W Series offers 24" (610mm) 26AWG wire leads. Built from a standard housing with a 0.375" (9.5 mm) wide slot, users can specify electrical output parameters, aperture size, discrete shell material (IR transmissive or opaque plastic), side mount configuration, and lead spacing (L Series) or wire leads (W Series). Housings use opaque injection-molded plastic to minimize sensitivity to ambient light. Switching occurs when an opaque object interrupts the beam.
