OPB830 and OPB840 series are slotted optical switches available in L and W package types. The L Series offers PCBoard mount lead spacing options, while the W Series provides 24" (610mm) 26AWG wire leads. These switches feature a standard housing with a 0.375" (9.5 mm) wide slot and customizable options including electrical output parameters (A, B, C), aperture sizes (0.010" or 0.050"), shell materials (opaque or IR transmissive), side mount configuration, and lead spacing. Housings use opaque injection-molded plastic to minimize ambient light sensitivity. Switching occurs when an opaque object interrupts the beam.
