OPI1266 [Optek]

The OPI1266 is a high voltage isolator featuring TTL compatible output, 16 kV dc isolation, and 500 kbits/s transfer rate. It provides propagation delay matching within 500 ns over the entire temperature range for timing purposes. The design produces maximum DC and AC current isolation between input and output while maintaining TTL/LSTTL circuit compatibility. The isolator includes a GaAIAs LED coupled with a unique integrated circuit detector, with photons collected by a photodiode and amplified by a high-gain linear amplifier driving a Schottky clamped open collector output transistor. The circuit is temperature, current and voltage compensated.
