The PCM-7700 series consists of air-cooled, high-power pulsed current sources designed for driving laser diodes, bars, and arrays. The series includes two models: PCM-7700-48 with built-in power supply and PCM-7700-EX which connects to an external supply for higher duty cycles. Both models feature pulse widths from 500 µs to 50 ms and pulse repetition rates from single shot to 1 kHz. The instruments support both digital and analog control modes, with digital mode using input voltage to control pulse output current and external trigger for pulse width, while analog mode follows input voltage. Complete control is provided through a DB15 male connector for automated applications. The system includes current and voltage monitors, gate control, and enable signals.
