    The AEDT-981x series are three-channel optical incremental encoder modules with high temperature operation from -40°C to 115°C. They use an Avago opto ASIC with built-in interpolator circuit, enabling resolution from 2000 to 5000 counts per revolution with 11mm optical radius. Features include automatic LED brightness regulation for low power consumption (typical 20mA), spatial play tolerance of ∅0.40mm, code wheel gap range of ±150um, and pin compatibility with legacy HEDS-9xxx series. The modules provide ESD immunity of 4kV HBM and require no signal adjustment.
