HEDS-5500#A14 [Avago]

These encoders are high performance, low cost, two and three channel optical incremental encoders emphasizing high reliability, high resolution, and easy assembly. Each encoder contains a lensed LED source, an integrated circuit with detectors and output circuitry, and a codewheel which rotates between the emitter and detector IC. The outputs are two or three digital channels. HEDS series uses metal codewheels, HEDM series uses film codewheels allowing resolutions up to 1024 CPR. They are easy to mount to motors with external mounting ears available. TTL compatible and single 5 V supply.
