High performance, low cost optical incremental encoders with two or three channels. They feature high reliability, high resolution up to 1024 counts per revolution, and easy assembly. The encoders include a lensed LED source, integrated detector circuit, and codewheel. Outputs are quadrature square waves with optional index pulse. TTL compatible, single 5V supply, operating temperature from -40°C to 100°C for HEDS series, and -40°C to 70°C or 85°C for HEDM series.
