The GD25VE40C is a 4M-bit serial flash memory featuring 512K-byte capacity with 256-byte programmable pages. It supports standard, dual, and quad SPI interfaces with clock frequencies up to 104MHz and data transfer rates up to 416Mbits/s. The device offers flexible architecture with uniform 4K-byte sectors and 32/64K-byte blocks. It features fast program/erase times (page program: 0.7ms typical, sector erase: 45ms typical) and low power consumption (20mA active current, 4uA power-down current). The memory includes software and hardware write protection, advanced security features with 128-bit unique ID and 4*256-byte security registers with OTP locks, and supports execute-in-place (XIP) operation. It operates from a single 2.1V to 3.6V power supply with 100,000 program/erase cycles minimum and 20-year data retention.
