The 8XC51FX series are high-performance CHMOS 8-bit microcontrollers with 32 programmable I/O lines, 7 interrupt sources, and four-level interrupt priority. They operate at 12/24/33 MHz and feature three 16-bit timer/counters, a programmable serial channel with framing error detection and automatic address recognition, and a programmable counter array with high-speed output, compare/capture, pulse width modulator, and watchdog timer capabilities. The devices have 8K/16K/32K on-chip program memory, 256 bytes of on-chip data RAM, and support up to 64K external program and data memory. They include power-saving idle and power-down modes, an ONCE mode for emulation, and a three-level program lock system. The microcontrollers are MCS-51 compatible and enhanced for applications requiring PWM, high-speed I/O, and up-down counting, such as motor control.
