The AT17 Series Configurators are EE programmable serial memories designed to store configuration programs for FPGAs. They are in-system programmable via a 2-wire bus and have a simple interface to SRAM FPGAs. Compatible with Atmel AT6000, AT40K and AT94K, Altera FLEX, APEX, Lucent ORCA, Xilinx XC3000, XC4000, XC5200, Spartan, Virtex FPGAs. The devices are cascadable for additional configurations or higher-density arrays. They use a low-power CMOS EEPROM process and offer programmable reset polarity. Available in 8-lead LAP, 8-lead PDIP, and 20-lead PLCC packages. The series emulates Atmel's AT24CXXX serial EEPROMs and is available in 3.3V ±10% (LV) and 5V ±5% (C) versions. Features include a system-friendly READY pin and low-power standby mode.
