The NIS6111 combines a high speed integrated circuit with a power MOSFET to create a rectifier with MOSFET-like forward drop characteristics and ultra high speed. It features low forward drop to improve system efficiency, can be used in high side and low side configurations, has a 24 V rating, and allows external MOSFETs for extended current handling. The device consists of a power supply, high speed comparator, driver, power FET, and capacitor. It is designed for low voltage outputs (<5.0 V) and high currents (tens to hundreds of amperes) in modern digital systems.
