The TOPSwitch-GX family integrates a high-voltage power MOSFET, PWM control, fault protection, and other control circuitry onto a monolithic IC. It offers extended power range for higher power applications, with no heatsink required up to 34 W using the P package. Features include tight temperature and absolute tolerance on critical parameters, fully integrated soft-start, externally programmable current limit, wider duty cycle, line under-voltage and overvoltage detection, and 132 kHz switching frequency. EcoSmart technology provides energy efficiency with extremely low consumption in remote OFF mode and frequency lowering with load for high standby efficiency.
