RT7313GS [RICHTEK]

The RT7313 is an active Power Factor Correction (PFC) controller with critical conduction mode (CRM) operation designed to meet line current harmonic regulations for AC/DC adapters, electronic ballasts, and medium off-line power converters (<300W). It features a totem-pole gate driver with 600mA sourcing and 800mA sinking currents for efficient power MOSFET driving, ultra low start-up current (≤20μA), and a disable function to reduce standby power consumption. The controller includes comprehensive safety protection functions such as input under-voltage lockout, output over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, and cycle-by-cycle current limit. It provides near unity power factor across wide input voltage and output power ranges using CRM and feed-forward schemes, making it a cost-effective solution with minimal external components. Available in SOP-8 package.
