    The RT9728A is a cost effective, low voltage, single P-MOSFET high side power switch IC for USB application with a programmable current limit feature. It offers a programmable current limit threshold between 75mA and 1.3A (typ.) via an external resistor with ±10% accuracy. The IC includes a flag output to indicate fault conditions (over current, over temperature, or reverse-voltage) and an embedded delay function to prevent mis-operation from high inrush current. It features low switch-on resistance (120mΩ typ.) and low supply current (120μA typ.). The device meets USB current limiting requirements and provides reverse input-output voltage protection and built-in soft-start. It is available in SOT-23-6 and WDFN-6L 2x2 packages and is RoHS compliant and halogen free.
