BQ24083EVM [Texas Instruments]

The bq24083 is a highly integrated Li-ion linear charge and system power management device for space-limited charger applications. It features an integrated power FET and current sensor, high-accuracy current/voltage regulation, charge status, and charge termination. The IC charges batteries in three phases (conditioning, constant current, constant voltage) with programmable output voltage (4.2V or 4.1V). Charge termination is based on minimum current with backup safety timer. The device automatically restarts charging if battery voltage drops below threshold and enters sleep mode when input power is removed. The EVM delivers up to 1A continuous charge current.
