These infrared emitting diodes feature hermetically sealed packages for reliability and are mechanically and spectrally matched to OPTEK's OP300, OP600, and OP640 series. OP123/OP124 use GaAs technology (935nm) while OP223/OP224 use GaAlAs (890nm), offering higher power output than GaAs at equivalent drive currents and wavelength matched to silicon's peak response. Designed for direct mounting to PC boards, they provide high on-axis intensity with narrow irradiance patterns, enabling excellent coupling efficiency and high device density mounting.
