The OP230 series are GaAIAs infrared emitting diodes in a hermetically sealed TO-46 package. They offer enhanced temperature range and come in focused (18°) or non-focused (50°) optical patterns. The devices are mechanically and spectrally matched to Optek phototransistors (OP800, OP593, OP598, OP800WSL, OP830SL) and are available in various power ranges. They operate at 890 nm or 850 nm wavelengths, making them suitable for beam interrupt and reflective object sensing applications.
