The series includes phototransistors and photodarlington transistors in side-looking packages for space-limited applications and PCBoard mounting. They feature a wide receiving angle and are available in clear, opaque, or blue-tinted packages. The OP552 has an opaque package for visible light immunity, and the OP555/OP565 have a blue-tinted package with a 28° acceptance half-angle. The OP750 and OP770 include additional circuitry for enhanced operation in stray light. All devices are spectrally matched to OPTEK's infrared emitters.
